One Killed in Beaumont Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 near MLK Blvd

Beaumont, Texas (September 14, 2022) – According to the police, a pedestrian was fatally hit by a tractor-trailer truck Wednesday morning near downtown Beaumont.

The deadly accident happened around 4:06 a.m., in the 1200 block of Interstate 10 East near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Police said the pedestrian was struck by a tractor-trailer truck on the interstate.

The pedestrian was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The driver stopped and cooperated with the investigators.

The crash closed the westbound traffic and was diverted at the Pine Street exit.

The police are investigating the crash.
