1 Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Grand Parkway in Harris County

One Killed in North Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on Grand Parkway (SH 99)

Harris County, Texas (May 27, 2023) – One person was killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash in north Harris County, according to the deputies.

The fatal crash happened on May 26, in the 12000 block of SH-99 (the Grand Parkway) at Huff-Smith and Kohrville.

Deputies said two vehicles, including a box truck, were involved in the crash.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed the EB lanes of Grand Parkway at SH-249.

The crash remains under investigation.
