One Killed in Harris County Crash on Highway 290 near Barker Cypress

 Harris County, Texas (August 24, 2023) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning in Harris County, authorities said.

The deadly crash happened at around 6:30 a.m. on Highway 290 near Barker Cypress.

Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was declared dead at the scene.

The freeway was closed after the crash.
