1 Killed in Hit-and-Run on Airline Drive in Aldine

One Killed in Aldine Hit-and-Run Crash on Airline Drive near Aldine Mail Route Road

Aldine, Texas (August 21, 2023) – One person was killed, and an infant was critically injured Saturday night in a hit-and-run accident in Aldine, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened around 11:50 p.m., August 19, on Airline Drive near Aldine Mail Route Road.

Deputies said a black Chevy Silverado was speeding northbound on Airline Drive when it crashed into a maroon Dodge Ram that was turning right from Aldine Mail Route Road.

The force of the impact caused the Ram to land up the road. 

The Silverado driver fled the scene on foot.

The Ram driver was ejected and was taken to the hospital, where they later died. A female passenger and three children were taken to the hospital for treatment. One child was listed in critical condition.

The authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

An investigation is underway.
