Kirk Madariaga Killed in San Antonio Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 35

San Antonio, Texas (May 20, 201) – The man who was killed in a motorcycle crash Tuesday night in San Antonio has been identified as Kirk A. Madariaga,49, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.

The deadly crash happened around 10:30 p.m., May 18, on Interstate 35, near Martin Street.

Police said Madariaga was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle and was approaching the upper and lower level split when he made a last second decision to take the upper level and rear-ended a Nissan Murano.

Madariaga, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected and was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center, where he later died.

The police are investigating the crash.
