One Killed in Midland Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 20

Midland, Texas (September 6, 2021) – One person was killed early Monday morning in a pedestrian accident in Midland, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 5:06 a.m., September 6, in the 3000 block of W. Interstate 20 service road.

Police said a person was walking in the eastbound lane of the service road when they were struck by a Hyundai Tucson.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The Hyundai driver remained at the scene after the accident.

No further details regarding the crash were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
