One Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident at Riverside and Congress

Austin, Texas (August 15, 2023) – One person was killed Friday morning in a pedestrian accident in Austin, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 3:30 a.m., August 11, at the intersection of East Riverside Drive and South Congress Avenue.

Police said an adult was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a vehicle. The victim’s identity has not been released.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
