Eduardo Valdennegro Killed in Loving County Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 652 and CR 300

Loving County, Texas (September 16, 2023) – A man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Loving County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on September 13, at the intersection of FM 652 and CR 300, near mile marker 20.

DPS said Roberto Mola Haydes, 31, of Odessa, was driving a 2016 Peterbilt truck with a trailer northbound on CR 300 while Eduardo Valdennegro, 43, of Socorro, was driving a 2007 international truck with a trailer westbound on FM 652.

Haydes failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and collided with Valdennegro at the intersection.

Valdennegro was pronounced dead en route to the hospital.

Haydes was uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
