Troy Locke and Tammy Lowery Injured in Lubbock Motorcycle Crash at 82nd Street and Upland Avenue

Lubbock, Texas (May 27, 2022) – Two people were injured Thursday night in a motorcycle crash in Southwest Lubbock, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 8:34 p.m., May 26, at the intersection of 82nd Street and Upland Avenue.

Police said Troy Locke, 51, was riding a motorcycle eastbound on 82nd Street when he ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into an SUV driven by Tammy Lowery, 46.

Locke was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

Lowery sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Unit is investigating the crash.
