One Killed in Lakeway Pedestrian Accident on RM 620 near Kollmeyer Drive

Lakeway, Texas (February 7, 2022) – One person was killed on Sunday in a pedestrian accident in Lakeway, according to officials.

The deadly accident happened on February 6, on FM 620.

Officials said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the highway.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

All lanes of FM 620 were closed from Pheasant Lane to Lakeway Boulevard following the crash.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.

An investigation is underway.
