Driver Killed in Galveston County Two-Vehicle Crash on Texas 146 near Main Street

Galveston County, Texas (December 26, 2020) – A driver was killed in a rear-end collision Saturday morning in Galveston County, according to authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on Texas 146 near Main Street.

Authorities said a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle, for unknown reasons, on the highway.

One of the drivers was airlifted to Memorial Hermann hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

No other information regarding the crash was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
