One Killed in College Station Two-Vehicle Crash at Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Dartmouth Street

College Station, Texas (August 8, 2021) – One person was killed Saturday evening in a two-vehicle crash at a College Station intersection, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 6:45 p.m., August 7, at the intersection of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Dartmouth Street.

Police said a car was traveling southbound on Dartmouth Street when it ran a stop sign at the intersection and was hit by a westbound SUV.

The driver of the southbound vehicle was killed in the crash. The passenger in the vehicle was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The occupants of the SUV sustained non-incapacitating injuries in the crash.

The crash closed eastbound Harvey Mitchell Parkway at Texas Avenue. Westbound Harvey Mitchell Parkway was diverted northbound onto Dartmouth.

The crash remains under investigation.
