San Angelo, Texas – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in San Angelo, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 7:19 p.m., April 27, at the intersection of FM 2105 and Oil Field Drive.

DPS said two F-250s were heading westbound on FM 2105 in trail. The trailing F-250 attempted to pass the F-250 in front, but lost control and hit the lead F-250. It then crashed through a fence and came to a stop near Oil Field Drive.

The male passenger of the passing F-250 was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The skies were clear and the roadways were dry at the time of the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
