One Dies in Arlington Multi-Car Crash on Interstate 20

Arlington, Texas (February 18, 2019) – One person died in a series of crashes that involved multiple vehicles in Arlington on Saturday night, according to the authorities.
The crash crashes took place at about 10 p.m. February 16 in the 4300 block of I-20 West.
Arlington police said a pickup truck and a sedan first crashed into each other.The sedan stopped in the middle lanes of the freeway and as the driver was trying to push it out of the way, another vehicle slammed into the man and his car.
Other drivers swerved to avoid the scene but ended up crashing. In total, six vehicles were involved in the pile-up.
The man who was hit while pushing his car was pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital. He was only identified as a 37-year-old man.
No other injuries were reported.
The Arlington Police Department is investigating the incident.
