Angel Garcia-Martinez ID’d as Man Killed in Midland County Crash on West County Road 173 at State Highway 173

El Paso, Texas (November 8, 2023) – Authorities have identified the man who died following a traffic accident on Sunday night in El Paso as Angel Garcia-Martinez, 21, of El Paso.

The deadly crash took place on West County Road 173 at State Highway 173 on Sunday, November 5.

Garcia-Martinez was driving a Nissan 350Z westbound on West County Road 173 when he failed to stop at the stop sign at StateAngel Garcia-Martinez ID’d as Man Killed in El Paso Crash on West County Road 173 at State H

Highway 349 and entered the intersection.

A 38-year-old Rockspring man driving a Chevrolet Silverado struck Garcia-Martinez.

Garcia-Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Silverado was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
