Man Killed in Northeast Austin Pedestrian Accident on US 290

Austin, Texas (June 9, 2023) – A man was killed last week in a pedestrian accident in northeast Austin, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:21 p.m., June 1, in the 6100 block of the eastbound service road of East US Highway 290.

Police said a man was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a pickup truck. His name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The police are investigating the crash.
