Man Injured in Hit-and-Run on UTSA Boulevard in San Antonio

Man Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on UTSA Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (June 9, 2022) – According to the police, a man was injured Wednesday night in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio’s Northwest Side, according to the police.

The accident happened around 11:00 p.m., June 8, in the 5200 block of UTSA Boulevard, near Interstate 10 and Vance Jackson Road.

Police said the man was walking on the sidewalk when a vehicle jumped the curb and struck him. He was taken to University Hospital and is expected to recover.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and if found they could be charged with failure to stop and render aid.

The police are investigating the crash.
