One Injured in Brazos County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 21

Brazos County, Texas – One person was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Brazos County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m., on Highway 21 near Kurten.

DPS said an 18-wheeler was pulling out of a driveway when it failed to yield the right of way to a pickup truck, causing the pickup to hit the trailer of the semi.

The driver of the pickup was taken to St. Joseph Hospital with incapacitating injuries.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
