Kylie Thompson Killed in Ector County Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 338

Ector County, Texas (October 12, 2019) – A woman was killed in a head-on collision Thursday morning in Ector County, a local news source reported.

The crash occurred at about 6:18 a.m. October 10, on Loop 338.

As per the report, Kylie Thompson, 26, of Midland, was driving a Ford Explorer westbound on Loop 338 when she entered the eastbound lane and crashed head-on into a Peterbilt truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer.

Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The driver of the truck was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa with non-incapacitating injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
