23-Year-Old Man Injured in Mission Valley Hit-and-Run Crash on Alameda near Nevarez Road

Mission Valley, Texas (October 30, 2023) – A 23-year-old motorcyclist was injured on Friday in a hit-and-run crash in Mission Valley, according to the police.

The crash happened around 7:45 p.m., September 29, in the 9900 block of Alameda near Nevarez Road.

Police said the motorcyclist was approaching Nevarez Road when a van cut in front of him, causing the motorcycle to hit the passenger’s side of the van.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The van fled the scene heading northbound on Nevarez Road.

The van was described as an older model gold or brown colored mini-van similar to a Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country and has damage on the right side.
