1 Seriously Injured in T-Boned Crash on State Highway 36 in Burleson County

One Airlifted after Burleson County Crash on State Highway 36 near FM 60

Burleson County, Texas (December 19, 2022) – One person was flown to a hospital in s serious condition following a two-car accident in Burleson County on Thursday night, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash happened at around 6:15 p.m. Thursday, December 15, on State Highway 36 near FM 60.

DPS said a 2016 Chevrolet pickup was attempting to turn left onto 36 from FM 60 when the driver failed to yield the right of way to an 18-wheeler and was t-boned.

Another pickup and an 18-wheeler were also involved in the crash.

The driver of the Chevrolet sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital.

No other injuries were reported.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

DPS is investigating the crash.
