One Seriously Injured in Plainview Train-Vehicle Crash near South Date and Oak Streets

Plainview, Texas (August 28, 2021) – According to the authorities, one person was seriously injured Friday afternoon in a train-vehicle crash in Plainview.

The crash happened around 2:19 p.m., August 27, near South Date and Oak Streets (600 block of South Date).

Authorities said the crash involved a half-ton black Chevrolet pick-up and a train.

The Chevrolet driver was extricated from the vehicle and was taken to Covenant Hospital Plainview with serious injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
