One Killed in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash at Zarzamora Street and Southcross Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (August 28, 2021) – One person was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s Southwest Side, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just after 1:00 a.m., at the intersection of S. Zarzamora Street and W. Southcross Boulevard.

Police said a Dodge Charger was speeding down W. Southcross Boulevard when it crashed into a pickup truck.

The force of the impact pushed the pickup truck into a utility pole.

The Dodge then crashed into several parked cars at an auto repair shop.

The pickup truck was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The Dodge driver was detained at the scene.

The crash closed the intersection.

The police are investigating the crash.
