Man Killed in Pharr Pedestrian Accident at E I-2 Frontage Road and Business 83

Pharr, Texas (April 27, 2023) – A man died after being struck by a semi-truck on Wednesday in Pharr, according to authorities.

The deadly crash happened at the intersection of E I-2 Frontage Road and Business 83 near TopGolf on Wednesday, April 26.

Authorities said the pedestrian, a 59-year-old man, was hit by a semi-truck at the intersection.

The man died at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The driver of the semi stopped at the scene and cooperated with police.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
