17-Year-Old Killed in Car Crash on US 377 and Westport Parkway in Westlake

Westlake, Texas – A 17-year-old Keller teenager was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Westlake, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 1:30 p.m., March 30, at the intersection of North Main Street (U.S. 377) and Westport Parkway.

Police said the teenager was driving a black BMW southbound on US 377 at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a white Toyota.

The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The people in the Toyota sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
