19-Year-Old Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 78 in Farmersville

19-Year-Old Killed in Farmersville Three-Vehicle Crash at Highway 78 and County Road 556

Farmersville, Texas (May 12, 2022) – One person was on Wednesday in a three-vehicle crash in Farmersville, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just before 1:00 p.m., on May 11, on Highway 78 and County Road 556.

Police said a vehicle tried to pass a rock hauler that was heading southbound on Highway 78. A northbound truck veered to the left to avoid a head-on collision but it crashed into a red vehicle.

The driver of the red truck, a 19-year-old, was killed in the crash.

Another driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The police are investigating the crash.
