One Killed in Nevada School Bus Crash near FM 6 and Discovery Drive

Nevada, Texas – One person was killed Thursday morning in a crash involving a Community ISD school bus near Lavon and Nevada, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened just after 8:00 a.m., near the intersection of FM 6 and Discovery Drive.

DPS said the crash involved the school bus and another vehicle.

There were children on the school bus, but none was injured in the crash.

The driver of the other vehicle was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
