Marlin, Texas (April 6, 2022) – Two people were killed Tuesday afternoon in a plane crash in Marlin, according to the authorities.

The deadly crash happened around 12:40 p.m., April 5, in the 500 block of FM 147, east of the Marlin Airport.

FAA said a single-engine Cessna T206H was flying from Houston Executive Airport to Waco Regional Airport when it crashed into a field.

Two people were pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as 27-year-old Cinnamon Franklin of Greenwood and 55-year-old Thomas Sands, Jr. of Sugar Land, Texas.

No other details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
