Man Killed in Ennis Pedestrian Accident on Highway 287

Ennis, Texas (October 19, 2020) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Saturday night in Ennis, police said.

The deadly accident happened just after 7:30 p.m., October 17, on Highway 287 in front of the Texas Motorplex race track.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the highway to his vehicle when he was hit by a passing car.

The man was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
