2 Injured, 1 Airlifted after Harker Heights Crash at FM 3219 and FM 439 Thursday

Harker Heights, Texas (August 2, 2019) – Two people were injured Thursday afternoon after a traffic accident involving three vehicles at an intersection in Harker Heights, according to authorities.

The wreck occurred just before 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1 at the intersection of FM 3219 and FM 439.

Authorities said a car collided with a truck at the Harker Heights intersection for unknown reasons. A third car became involved in the collision.

One person sustained major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. The other patient was transported by ground ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries.

The occupants of the third car, a woman and her two children, were uninjured.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
