The Dodge driver was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Two other passengers in the Dodge, including a teenager and the Honda driver, were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated and released.

The Honda driver was then arrested and booked into the Deaf Smith County Jail on charges of intoxication, manslaughter, and intoxication assault.

The Dodge driver had also been consuming alcohol, and charges are pending an investigation.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
