2 Hospitalized after Garland Two-Vehicle Crash on Lavon Drive near Murphy Road

Garland, Texas (February 11, 2020) – Two people were injured in a head-on collision Tuesday morning in Garland, according to the police.

The crash occurred around 8:55 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Lavon Drive near Murphy Road.

Police said a vehicle hydroplaned and crossed into the opposite lanes where it crashed head-on into an oncoming vehicle.

Two drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers said wet road conditions were a likely factor in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
