Manaliki Wilson Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Hudnall Street near Maple Avenue; Richard Rojas Arrested

Dallas, Texas (March 18, 2022) – A 27-year-old man was fatally hit by an alleged intoxicated driver Thursday morning in Dallas, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:30 a.m., March 17, in the 2500 block of Hudnall Street, near Maple Avenue and Denton Drive.

Police said Manaliki Wilson was crossing the street either to or from the Tin Room, a bar located in the area, when he was struck by a speeding westbound 2021 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck driven by Richard Alexander Rojas, 27.

Wilson was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died. 

Rojas was arrested and has been charged with intoxication manslaughter.

The police are investigating the crash.
