2 Injured in Car Crash on FM 973 in Travis County

Teen and Adult Injured in Travis County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 973

Travis County, Texas (September 23, 2022) – Two people were injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash in eastern Travis County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened just before midnight, September 22, in the 3000 block of North FM 973, between Platt Lane and FM 969.

DPS said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

A teenager was taken to the hospital with potentially serious injuries.

An adult was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.

FM 973 northbound was closed due to the crash and was reopened around 3:00 a.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
