2 Injured in DUI Crash on East Yukon in Odessa; Rogelio Lujan Arrested

Two Injured in Odessa 4-Vehicle Crash on East Yukon near Andrews Highway; Rogelio Lujan Arrested

Odessa, Texas (June 5, 2021) – Two people were injured Thursday evening in a DUI crash in Odessa, according to the police.

The crash occurred on June 3, in the 100 block of East Yukon near Andrews Highway.

Police said Rogelio Lujan, 38, of Odessa, was driving westbound while a motorcycle, a van, and an SUV were stopped facing westbound on Yukon.

Lujan crashed into the motorcycle and the van. The force of the impact pushed the van into the SUV.

The van driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Lujan was intoxicated at the time of the crash and was arrested. He has been charged with one count of intoxication assault.

The police are investigating the crash.
