Two Injured in Denton Plane Crash near Denton Airport

 Denton, Texas (June 10, 2021) – Two people were injured Wednesday night in a plane crash in Denton, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on June 9, just south of the Denton Airport and just north of Highway 2449.

Authorities said a Piper 140 with a maximum seating capacity of 4 passengers, based out of Denton, crashed near the airport.

Two people sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No other details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
