Two Injured in Burleson Two-Vehicle Crash at Wilshire and Summercrest Boulevards

Burleson, Texas (October 21, 2023) – Two people were injured Friday morning in a school bus crash in Burleson, according to a local news source.

The crash happened around 8:09 a.m., October 20, at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Summercrest Boulevard.

According to the report, the crash involved a passenger vehicle and a school bus.

The school bus overturned after the collision.

A person in the passenger vehicle had to be extricated and was airlifted to a Fort Worth trauma center for treatment.

There were no children on the school bus at the time of the crash. The driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
