Two Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 near North Crossroads Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (November 24, 2023) – Two people, including a 17-year-old boy, were injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s Northwest Side, according to the police.

The crash happened around 9:00 p.m., November 23, on Interstate 10 West near North Crossroads Boulevard.

Police said the 17-year-old was driving a 2004 Honda Civic when a tire blew out, causing him to slow down. He did not try to pull off the road due to the blowout and kept driving.

The driver of a 2021 Nissan Rogue did not see the Honda due to a curve in the road and crashed into it.

The 17-year-old was found unconscious and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

One of the passengers in the Nissan Rogue was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

There are many different reasons why automobile, pedestrian, 18-wheeler, bicycle, and motorcycle accidents occur, including driver negligence, driver inattention, texting and driving, speeding, fatigue, failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, or private drive, running a red light, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. While the factors listed above are the main causes of most accidents, there may also be other factors involved, which is why it’s important that an investigation be conducted before evidence disappears, especially in cases involving a fatality.  At Joel A. Gordon & Associates, we will act quickly to secure accident scene photos, interview witnesses, obtain police records, and secure other valuable evidence needed to win your case.  Call now for a free consultation.
