Man Hit, Killed by Truck at San Felipe Avenue and Commerce Street in San Antonio

Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at North San Felipe Avenue and West Commerce Street

San Antonio, Texas (August 5, 2023) – According to the police, a man was hit and killed by a truck early Friday morning in San Antonio.

The deadly accident happened just after 6:00 a.m., August 4, at the intersection of North San Felipe Avenue and West Commerce Street.

Police said a black truck was traveling eastbound when it struck the man who was trying to cross the street, outside of a crosswalk. It was dark at the time of the crash, and the driver did not see the man.

The man was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

The driver stopped at the scene to help the victim.

The police are investigating the crash.
