David Belter Killed, Kendall Batchelor Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on SH 46 in Kendall County

David Belter Killed, Kendall Batchelor Injured in Kendall County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 46

Kendall County, Texas (June 7, 2022) – One person was killed, and another was injured Thursday night in a wrong-way crash in Kendall County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened just before 10:00 p.m., June 2, on State Highway 46, outside Boerne.

DPS said Kendall Lauren Batchelor, 22, of San Antonio, was driving a Ford F-150 westbound in the eastbound lane of the highway when she crashed head-on into a sedan.

The sedan driver, 49-year-old David Belter, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Batchelor was taken to University Hospital in San Antonio for treatment. She has been charged in connection with the crash.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
