Man, Woman Hospitalized after Fort Worth Plane Crash on Beach Street near Trinity River and Gateway Park Drive
Fort Worth, Texas (January 28, 2019) – A man and a woman in their 50s were injured when their small aircraft crashed into a field Sunday afternoon in east Fort Worth, authorities said.
The accident was reported at around 4:38 p.m. Sunday, January 27 in the 800 block of Beach Street near the West Fort Trinity River and Gateway Park Drive.
According to the authorities, the pilot of the single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza reported a loss of engine power before crashing.
First responders arrived at the scene and they found the man, who piloted the plane, walking around. The woman had major injuries.
Both victims were then transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in stable condition.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
