Pregnant Woman Killed, 3 Seriously Injured in Car Crash on I-30 in Dallas

Pregnant Woman Killed, Three Seriously Injured in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 30 at 2nd Avenue

Dallas, Texas – A pregnant woman was killed and three other people were seriously injured early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash involving an off-duty Dallas Police officer in Dallas, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened just after 2:30 a.m., January 6, on Interstate 30 and 2nd Avenue.

Authorities said a stalled Chevy Malibu was struck by a Jeep Wrangler driven by an off-duty officer.

The occupants of the Malibu, including a pregnant woman, were taken to a local hospital. The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital. Her name has not been released. Two of the occupants were listed in critical condition.

The woman’s baby, who was removed from their mother, was able to survive the crash but is also in critical condition.

The Jeep driver was taken to the hospital where they were treated and released.

The crash remains under investigation.
