13 Students and Driver Injured in Beaumont School Bus Crash on 10th Street and Delaware Street

Beaumont, Texas (January 22, 2022) – According to the authorities, 13 students and a driver were injured Friday afternoon in a school bus crash in Beaumont.

The crash happened around 3:00 p.m., January 21, in the 2800 block of North 10th Street and Delaware Street.

Authorities said a Beaumont school bus with 16 students collided with another vehicle.

Two students were taken to Baptist Hospital, and 11 others were taken to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. The bus driver was also taken to the hospital.

There were high school students from Beaumont United on the bus at the time of the crash.

The crash closed both directions of the roadway.

An investigation is underway.
