2 Killed, 1 Critically Injured in Head-On Crash on FM 1314 in Montgomery County

Two Killed and One Critically Injured in Montgomery County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1314 near Crighton Road

Montgomery County, Texas – Two people were killed and another was critically injured Friday evening in a head-on collision in Montgomery County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 6:15 p.m., February 16, on FM 1314 near Crighton Road.

Authorities said a Kia Forte was traveling southbound when it crossed into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on into a 2024 Honda Civic.

The Kia caught fire after the crash and a man and a woman were rescued from the vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman went into cardiac arrest, and paramedics tried to save her, but she later died.

A woman in the Honda was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The crash closed the highway but it has since been reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
