2 Killed, 1 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on SH 70 in Nolan County

Two Killed and One Injured in Nolan County Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 70

Nolan County, Texas (June 28, 2020) – Two people were killed, and another was injured early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash, about a mile south of Sweetwater, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 a.m. June 27, on SH 70.

DPS said a couple was riding in a 2008 Ford pickup truck when it collided with a 2005 Dodge Pickup truck in the southbound lane.

The couple was killed in the crash.

The driver of the Dodge was taken to Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
