Two Killed, Two Injured in La Marque Car Crash on FM 1765 at Jack in The Box

La Marque, Texas (September 4, 2022) – Two people were killed, and two others were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in La Marque, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 4:30 p.m., September 3, at the Jack in the Box on FM 1765.

Police said a pickup truck was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed when it lost control on the rain-slick road around a curve and sideswiped another car. It then crossed over the median and flipped over into the restaurant’s parking lot.

The pickup driver and a passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released.

Two other people who were struck by the pickup were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
