2 Killed, 3 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on US 59 in Sugar Land

Two Killed and Three Injured in Sugar Land Two-Vehicle Crash on US 59 (Southwest Freeway)

Sugar Land, Texas (May 1, 2023) – Two people were killed, and three others were injured Sunday morning in a wrong-way crash in Sugar Land, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 4:00 a.m., April 30, in the southbound lanes of US-59 (Southwest Freeway).

Police said a Toyota pickup truck was traveling the wrong way when it crashed into a Chevy pickup truck.

Both men in the Toyota were killed in the crash. Their identities have not been released.

Two children, believed to be 12 to 15 years old, and one adult man were transported to the hospital and are expected to survive.

The police are investigating the crash.
