Man Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Greenhouse Road in NW Harris County

Man Killed in NW Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Greenhouse Road

Harris County, Texas (March 25, 2021) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in northwest Harris County, according to deputies.

The deadly accident happened just afternoon, March 24, on Greenhouse Road.

Deputies said they had responded to a family violence call where a man was choking his girlfriend and pushed her up against a wall. When the deputies arrived the suspect fled.

The deputies hit the suspect with a Taser but it was ineffective. He ran onto the roadway and was struck by a southbound vehicle.

The suspect was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The driver of the southbound vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

An investigation is underway.
