Oldham County, Texas – Two people were killed on Friday in a fiery crash in Oldham County, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened on April 12, on Interstate 40 at mile marker 26 between Vega and Adrian.

DPS said a westbound semi-truck hit a passenger vehicle in the westbound lane, before crossing the center median and hitting two semi-trucks in the eastbound lanes.

Some of the vehicles caught fire after the collision.

Two semi-truck drivers were killed in the crash. One was burned and one was ejected.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was airlifted to Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo. A passenger was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The crash closed westbound I-40.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
