2 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth

Two Killed in Fort Worth Crash on Interstate 30 near Cooks Lane

Fort Worth, Texas (September 18, 2023) – Two people were killed after they were struck by at least one vehicle in east Fort Worth early Monday morning, according to police.

The deadly crash happened at around 12:30 a.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 30 near Cooks Lane.

Police said a Chevrolet pickup truck, a Cadillac, and a motorcycle were involved in the crash. Two people died at the scene. It was not immediately clear if the deceased were operating one of those vehicles prior to the accident.

The names of the victims have not been disclosed.

Eastbound interstate lanes were blocked to traffic for several hours as the investigation took place and reopened by 6:15 a.m.
